6/91 No 14 (The Forge)
Cottage. C17. Timber framed, partly replaced with brick,
colourwashed. Pantiled roof replacing thatch. Lobby entry plan
with C20 four-panelled door and C19 timber casement windows.
Framing has heavy bressumer and 2 panels above, one stud bearing
incised inscription 1619 SEPTE W. Two late C17 leaded windows to
Interior has one fireplace in central stack serving left
living/kitchen. Unshaped binder to left room, rough spine beam on
right, and later stack added in rear wall.
