II
House. C18, refronted late C18-early C19. English garden wall
bond, C20 tiled roof. Two storeys and attics, 3 bays. Left bay
and return along road remains from the earlier structure, and
incorporated in new approximately symmetrical facade. Central
stair hall plan with flanking reception rooms. Six-panelled door
and fanlight in round arched opening. Sixteen-paned sashes,
renewed, and gauged brick lintels. Brick dentilled eaves.
External gable stacks. Roof hipped, with two rebuilt gabled
dormers. Wing on left has stair, 3-storey quarter hipped to rear
extended in C19. Undergoing renovation December 1986.
