3/243 Old Manor Farmhouse
II
Farmhouse. Early and late C17. Timber framed with whitewashed
brick noggings. Thatched roof. Single storey and attic, raised
by one panel to 2 storeys. Six bays, lobby entry plan, comprising
a 2-bay living room on left, possibly an earlier structure, and
half bay containing stack and entrance on south end, extended by
further 2 bays to south and terminating in brick built store with
external entrance forming the sixth bay. Panelled door with
simple canopy. and C19 timber 2-light casement windows. Second
stack added in half hipped left end. Roof hipped right.
Interior not seen, may be of interest.
