Barn. Mid-late C18. C20 weatherboard cladding to timber frame
on brick plinth; corrugated asbestos roof, hipped to south and
half-hipped over stable to west. Aisled L-plan with loft over
stable to west end. C20 hipped midstreys. Stable built of
sarsen stone and English bond brick, with windows flanking door.
Interior: south end of 4½ bays, aisled to east, has jowled and
arch-braced posts to collar-truss roof with butt purlins; later
C18 six-bay barn to west has north aisle and jowled and
straight-braced posts to similar roof. Stable to west has
chamfered beams and similar roof. A good example of a large C18
outfarm barn.
