Ailesbury column
GV II

Marker bollards on three sides of clearing containing the Ailesbury
Column (q.v.). C18. Sarsen with cast iron balls formerly holding
chains. Bollards set at approximately 7m intervals. Iron balls
missing from south-west side bollards.
