2/20 Little Estcotts

House. 1675, mid C18 and extended in C20. Brick with thatched
roof. 1966 extension roughcast. Two storeys. Originally a 3-bay
block aligned east-west, to which a rear north wing was added circa
mid C18, becoming bakery and shop in C19. Short rear extension on
east end c1966 and further extended to east c1980 beyond an added
brick bay of probably early C19. Entrance now on south side,
earlier door central to three bays replaced by window. Door to
shop in rear wing also similarly replaced. Glazed door. Timber
casement windows, some with glazing bars. Stack at rear of C18
wing and to east gable of original block. Rear stack has datestone
reading 1675, possibly reset.
