House and smithy. Late C18 and early C19. Yellow brick, extended
in red brick, thatched roof. Two storeys. Central block of 3
bays, with fourth bay added to south end, and smithy, now shop,
added to north. Main house raised above road. Central boarded
door. Timber windows with leaded glazing. Upper floor timber
framed comprising two horizontal panels high. Similar windows to
extension and gable stack. Smithy single storey and set forward
and lower. Window to road and brick dentilled eaves. Gable
hipped, with curved corner and weatherboarded, and containing
stable door. Slate and corrugated asbestos roofed lean-to along
rear of house.
