House. C16 extended early C18. Timber framed with colourwashed
brick noggings, thatched roof. Two storeys and attic. Rear block
of 3 bays, extended by wing to front on right bay in patterned
diaper brick with datestone of 1712 in gable. Framing 3 panels
high to bressumer, 1 panel above, with curved corner braces.
Blocked original 3-light windows to gable end. Entrance to centre
bay, and secondary entrance in offset at rear of wing. Various
paned windows. Wing has plat band and gable stack.
Interior: Main C16 block has 3 collar trusses, formerly with
windbraces, and smoke blackening of rafters and thatch. Living
room has moulded spine beam.
