CHUTE FOREST LANE

9/87 Well House
GV II

Well house. C20 reconstruction of earlier building. Timber framed
and weatherboarded walls on north and west; open, with picket
fence on south and east. Gate. Pitched roof. Internally, a 2-
handled winding drum with hawser and friction brake. Well capped
off with iron plate. Included as a significant feature at the
corner of the village green.
