II

Farmhouse. c1850-60. Limestone ashlar with slate roof. Two
storeys. Two gabled bays with narrower recessed linking bay
between containing entrance, a 2-panelled door with sidelights and
high canopy between wings on cast iron brackets. Three-light
windows to wings, and canted oriels on moulded corbels and with
parapets on first floor. All windows have extended hexagonal iron
glazing. Moulded barge boards to gables with apex pendants.
Stacks to outer walls, with diagonally set brick shafts, four to
left, and 2 pairs of 2 to right.
