House. c1710. Brick laced flint with stone quoins to ground
floor, brick to upper floor. Tiled roof. Two storeys and attics.
Main east-west block containing principal rooms, and rear wing on
west with breakfast room and kitchen. Stair in re-entrant angle,
now enclosed in later lean-to extensions. Main front of 7 bays
with central half-glazed door to garden with stone pedimented and
pilastered doorcase. Windows are 12-paned sashes, renewed C20,
with near flush boxes. Brick surrounds and gauged lintels. Plat
band. Wide timber dentilled eaves. Two hipped dormers. Roof
hipped with stack to gables at rear of end bays.
Interior has panelling to central saloon and right end room on
south, latter with cornice and moulded arched fireplace. Left room
has late C17 oak panelling and eared stone fire surround. Stair
opening from saloon, has panelled dado. Upper floors not seen.
