Cottage. C15-C16. Timber framed on sarsen pads, now mostly
colourwashed brick and thatched roof. Single storey and attic, 4
bays, hall with parlour to left, and narrower rooms both ends, that
to south and probably both later. Boarded door and early C20
casement windows. Single framed flush dormer to front. Roof
hipped to left, stack before extension to right.
Interior: the hall is defined by two cruck trusses, one full blade
of each surviving. Chamfered spine beams. Collar of roof halved
over blade and trenched purlins. Apex not visible.
