7/221 The Old Rectory and stables

Rectory, now house. c1810-15. Bath limestone ashlar with slate
roofs. Two storeys, main block of 3 bays with central crenellated
and buttressed porch, and boarded door with false iron hinges.
Plat band. Two-light windows with square labels, and timber frames
with pointed arched lights. To left of porch, ground floor window
replaced with 12-paned sash and similar sashes to side elevation.
To right of block, a 2-bay wing with similar windows and gable
stack. Lean-to at end, and basement floor under with sash windows
and a pair of doors. To rear of house, a long stable wing forming
courtyard to right side of house.
