9/224 No 29 (Perry's Cottage)

House. C18. Rendered chalkstone/cob, with thatched roof. Two
storeys, 'L'-plan, comprising a symmetrical 3 bay front block with
central entrance hall, and fourth bay to left with a single bay
rear wing. Half glazed door under thatched propped canopy. C19
casement windows. Painted inscription over door reading H.S.S.
1791 (Harry H. Sturgess). Brick stack. Roof hipped, and half
hipped to right and added external stack.
