the description shall be amended to read:

Stables and attached wall and archway. 1740s for Francis Yerbury. Coursed limestone
rubble; ashlar facade and gabled stone-coped stone slate roof. Coachhouse of 2-storey
3-bay range has keyed segmental arch over C20 double doors and wood lintel over inserted
C20 double doors to centre. Label moulds over paired 2-light pointed-arched window
to right and one-light first-floor windows, all with latticed leaded lights; cusped
and ogee-headed niche to centre. Interior not inspected. Subsidiary features: late
C15 archway to left (west) of coachhouse has hood mould over double-chamfered 2-centred
arch. Tall wall extends approx 14m to NW of coachhouse to meet stable (q.v.).

The stable building to east of the house, now converted to garage, is
said to be contemporary with the early portions of the house. C15, but
with considerable later restoration (probably in C19.) Ashlar. Old tiled
roof. Gable-ends with parapets and kneelers. Plinth. Canopied niche
(empty) over the garage doors. To west of the stables is a tall pointed
archway giving access to the north side of Belcombe Court. Probably late
medieval, and the original south archway from the neighbouring barn.
Random rubble with ashlar dressings. Plain chamfered arch of 2 orders
with dripmould over.

Belcombe Court forms an important group with the Temple, Stables, Barn,
Grotto and Cottage to the west.
