the description shall be amended to read:

Grotto. 1740s for Francis Yerbury. Built of tufa to an irregular plan and shape.
Segmental-arched entrance. Two small windows to north. Interior: ammonites to
floor; mock stalactites to ceiling; passage to room overlooking pond, which has
seats set against walls. Part of the garden bounded by the ha-ha (q.v.) and
including the temple (q.v.), garden seat and Gothick cottage (q.v.: situated to W of
ha-ha) which Francis Yerbury created to the west of Belcombe Court (q.v.) in the
1740s: situated to north of pond.

Close to the lake and the Temple. Possibly C18. Irregularly-shaped rocky
eminence. Segmental arched entrance.

Belcombe Court forms an important group with the Temple, Stables, Barn,
Grotto and Cottage to the west.
