Early/mid C19. Large house in grounds. Front elevation has 2 storeys
+ mansard with 4 dormers, casements. Ashlar with slate roof. Frontage
projects in 3 shallow angular 2-storey bays, 3 windows in each bay (grouped),
sashes in reveals, some with glazing bars. Semi-circular headed doorway,
plain opening, panelled door in wooden doorcase, wide semi-circular fanlight
with glazing bars. Rear elevation has 2 storeys plus mansard with 1 dormer.
7 windows, sashes in reveals, some with glazing bars. To right is a low
2 storey 3 window wing with single-pitch roof. Projecting porch 5 bays
from left, on twin Tuscan columns with entablature and blocking course,
3 steps up. Plain string at lst floor level, moulded cornice and plain
parapet.

Leigh House forms a group with walls and gatepiers to north and west.
