Projects forward from the row. Probably early C19. 3 storeys plus basement,
of higher elevation then Nos 45 and 46. Ashlar front. Pantiled roof.
String-courses at first-floor sill level and above ground floor. 3 windows,
one to left and a pair to right. Sashes, glazing bars missing. Shop
window to right with moulded cornice over a plain fascia, supported by
pilasters with moulded panels. Plain door recessed to left.

Nos 38 to 49 (consec) form a group.
