Late medieval, adjoins No 7 and is generally similar but for having a
stone-tiled roof, 2 casements on first -floor and no window in gable.
There is also an ornamental wooden string above first-floor windows.
Shop-front with C19 wooden shop-windows and round-headed lunette over
door.

All listed buildings in The Shambles form a group with King's Arms Hotel,
Nos 2, 5 and 6 Coppice Hill, Nos 27 to 29 (consec) Silver Street and No
2 Kingston Road.
