On a crucial corner site at north end of the Town Bridge where Market
Street joins Silver Street. The first of a small row of late C17 or early
C18 houses. 3 storeys. Coursed rubble with freestone dressings. 2 original
gables, one on street front and the other facing the river. Stone-tiled
roofs with ridges meeting at right angles from the gables. 1 window each
storey. Sashes, glazing bars missing on first floor. Shop-front with
plain fascia supported by 3 pilasters with sunken panels. Door to right.

Nos 1 to 3 (consec) form a group.
