Tiny cottage projecting into the street. C18. 2 storeys. Ashlar front
with random rubble at side. Stone-tiled roof, hipped to north end. 1
pair of windows to each storey, those on upper floor with wooden frames.
1 sash and 1 casement to each pair, glazing bars intact. High projecting
plinth. This property has a 2-storey extension to rear. Ashlar. Stone-tiled
roof. South front has 1 window per storey, sashes with glazing bars.
Wooden lintel to ground-floor window extends across the front. Central
doorway under wooden trellis. No 78 is of considerable townscape value
for the locality of White Hill.

No 78 forms a group with Nos 1, 7 and 8 White Hill and No 1 Woolley Street
