Terrace of houses stepped uphill and with a bend in the middle. Late
C18 or early C19. Ashlar. 4 storeys. Modern brick chimney-stacks.
Pantiled roofs, plain eaves. String-course above ground-floor. 4 windows
to each property, grouped in pairs with continuous sills. A single additional
window to right of No 6. This is over a square-headed chamfered doorway
to passage which gives access to Nos 7 to 9 (consec) at rear of terrace.
All sash windows, glazing bars. Doors along street are in chamfered reveals
with hoods supported by curved brackets over. No 10 has a pair of hoods
with a blocked door to left.

All the listed buildings in Whitehead's Lane together with Nos 15 to 17
(consec) Silver Street and Nos 1 to 4 (consec) and Nos 7 and 8 White Hill
form a group.
