South front is mid C19. 2 storeys plus attics in gables. Ashlar, Stone-
tiled roofs. High moulded parapet with kneeler to left. Dormer under
gablet, with moulded coping, in centre of front. Large gable to right,
also with moulded and stepped coping. Both attics have paired rectangular
lights with stone mullions. Rectangular dripmould over window in attic
to right. The gabled section to right breaks forward slightly and has
a large bow rising through 2 storeys. This bow has a 4-light Gothic window
to first-floor, and 4 French windows to ground-floor. Similar windows
to left, of 3 lights and 1 light (French window on ground-floor). 2 storey
range of lower elevation to left. Pantiled roofs. 2 windows of 2 and
3 lights, with stone mullions. The gable-ends to west incorporate older
masonry.
