1871 by G. E. Street. Vernacular Gothic style. Local rubblework with ashlar quoins and dressings. Red tile roof, coped weathered verges.
Facade to road is two storeyed with string over ground floor, raised to right. Central pointed doorway with ledged doors. Either side third light mullion windows; on first floor two mullion windows one with gable. Front garden enclosed by low local rubblework wall of about 23 metres with plinth; angled to lychgate (qv). Behind the house are the schoolrooms (extended) circa 1892, with Gothic mullion windows, gables and tall stone chimneys.
