Early to mid C19 former toll house. 2 storey ashlar centre, angled, and flanking
single storey wings. Hipped slate roofs. 2 windows and central panel on 1st
floor with cill band. 4 windows in all on ground floor, all glazing bar sashes,
side windows in slight recesses. Later projecting box porch with cornice and
segmental panel over for clock.
