Circa 1830 pair. 3 storeys, brick. No 1 painted with stone cills, stone
lintels (grooved as brick flat arches) and stone cope to parapet. Old tile
roof hipped to right. 2 brick ridge chimneys. 1 range of windows per house
flanking blind panel with lintel. Small pane glazing bar sashes, single hung
on 2nd floor, casements (No 2) on 1st floor. 2 late C19 shop fronts: No 1
has 4 narrow reeded pilaster strips flanking 2 windows and central glazed
door; No 2 has Doric pilaster strips framing similar arrangement. No 1 has
conical lead rainwater hopper.
