Circa 1730, refronted 1841 (VCH). Ashlar, Bath stone. Narrow full height
angle pilasters. Moulded cornice and plain parapet. Slate roof. Glazing
bar sash windows: 2 tripartite windows flanking single central window, with
small cornices over on scroll brackets, to upper floors - modern shop front
replacing plain shop front previously mentioned. Of considerable interest
are the rubble extensions to rear, with brick quoins; very late timber framing
to one part. Return to east has ashlar chimney stack dated 1856 with set
offs in panelled ashlar chimneys with moulded capping.
