C18 rendered front with old tile roof and gable end chimneys. No 49 has ashlar
plinth. 2 storeys. 2 glazing bar sash windows each in flush moulded surrounds.
No 49 has moulded wooden eaves cornice with box gutters on ground floor and
late C19/early C20 shop front with 2 short pilasters to modillion corniced
fascia. No 51 yard entry to left with round headed inside frame, and moulded
necking to pilasters, keystone and 6 panel double doors. Plate glass shop
window with, to right, glazed door framed by early-mid C19 reeded pilaster
strips. Long 2 storey extension to rear of No 49 (former inn accommodation),
mostly rubble; further archway (with lintel) into lean-to pantiled stable
- a pleasant group of buildings opening into Were Walk.
