Early-mid C18. 3 storeys, stucco of mixed stone, brick and timber. Rusticated
quoins. Front bowed. Some timber-framing, visible in gable end to right
where the end of a bressumer over 1st floor is apparent and from a post visible
under plaster on inside. Old tile roof with coped verges. The small moulded
and bracketted cornice mentioned in previous list removed as also principal
feature of front: an elaborate C18 clock. Front now plain with 2 ranges of
plate glass sashes in flush moulded frames to upper floors and plain early
C19 shop front. At rear is a 2-storey cottage at right angles to extension:
it has a mansard roof, a large chimney and 2 irregular windows to north and
forms, with extensions from Nos 11 and 13 a small courtyard at rear of Nos
15 and 17.
