1783 commemorates the inclosure of the parish. On site of High, or Emwell,Cross.
Triangular stone tapering shaft on moulded triangular base. Small moulded
cap crowned with reeded urn and pineapple. Former drinking fountain with
lion's mask spout on east corner. No identification. A distinctive feature
of fine proportions at the road junction.
