C18 or early C19. Picturesque. Single storey 'L' plan with octagonal toll
house projection to west. Local rubblework with brick quoins to dressings.
Thatched roofs, octagonal part with flat eaves and scalloped fringe decoration,
adjacent gable end with scalloped bargeboard. 2 light casement windows with
dripmoulds, one on each gable end, 3 end one blocked) on toll house projection.
2 diagonal chimney stacks in centre. Doorway with beaded door in thatched
link section between the 2 parts of the cottage. Later (early C20) brick
1 1/2 storey 4 window extension to east, also thatched.
