Farmhouse. Mid C18. Coursed rubble stone with brick dressings, 2-
span tiled roof, gable-end brick stacks. Two-storey, 3-windowed
front; 12-pane sashes. Central door has 6 fielded panels with
integral transom light and flat wooden hood on brackets, either
side is flush sash in moulded architrave. First floor has three
flush sashes. Right return has one C20 casement to ground floor.
Rear has C20 lean-to extension to ground floor, two 3-light
casements to first floor.
Interior not accessible at time of survey (April 1985). A farm on
the Giffard estate in 1731. (VCH. Wiltshire, Vol.8, 1965 p.6)
