Whitecliff Farmhouse

Farmhouse. Circa 1700, altered C19. Dressed limestone, tiled 2-
span roof, gable end brick stacks. Parallel range plan. Two-
storey, 3-windowed. Central door with 6 fielded panels in stone
chamfered case, in C19 gabled stone porch up steps, either side is
3-light recessed mullioned casement. Basement to right has two
blocked ovolo-mullioned casements, chamfered plinth. Plat band to
first floor; central 2-light with 3-light mullioned casement
either side. Right return has 2-light leaded casement to attic and
attached C20 garage and kitchen extension. Left return has 2-
light casement to attic. Rear has C20 glazed door and casements,
first floor has three 2-light casements and C20 light.
Interior has chamfered beams, stone square fireplaces and planked
doors with strap hinges to rear range, front has 4-panelled doors
and plain oak stairs.
