GV II

Detached cottage. Mid C17, late C20 addition to west. Painted
rubble stone, hipped thatched roof, brick stack to left of original
build. L-plan since 1975 addition. Two-storey, 3-windowed;
casements. Six-panelled door in C20 thatched porch, C20 casements
to left, two 2-light casements to right. First floor of original
build has 3-light and 2-light casements. Right return has 1-light
casement to ground floor, 2-light casement to first floor. Rear
has 1-light and 2-light casements.
Interior retains deep chamfered beam with runout stops, open
fireplace with chamfered cambered lintel on brick jambs, planked
door to winding stairs. Included as intact C17 cottage, retained
despite C20 addition in sympathetic style and materials.
