GV II

Detached house. Late C18. English garden wall bond brick to
front, rubble stone to returns and rear, tiled mansard roof with
gable and brick stacks. Gable end to road. Two storey, 3-window
front; sashes. Central door with six fielded panels and semi-
circular head with fanlight, C20 pedimented porch on fluted
columns, either side is 4-pane flush sash in moulded architrave.
First floor has three 4-pane sashes. Attic has two hipped dormers
with 2-light casements, to upper pitch of mansard. Returns are
windowless. Rear has late C19 two storey outshut, C18 single
storey wing to rear left has planked door and fixed C20 window,
tiled mansard roof.
Interior has stairs with ramped handrail in C19 outshut, internal
window shutters, currently undergoing renovation (May 1985).
