9/69 York House


House in row. Late C18. Flemish bond brick, tiled roof, brick
stack to left. Two storey, 3-windowed; sashes. Central door with
6 fielded panels and flat arch with keystone, 4-pane sash to left
and right, 4-panelled door to entry to right. First floor has 4-
pane sash, oriel with sashes and 12-pane sash to right, all with
flat arches and keystones. Rear has C20 lean-to extension to left
and two storey C18 wing to right with 3-light cast-iron leaded
Interior has doors with two or four fielded panels, good stairs
with Chinese Chippendale balustrade, stone eared fireplace surround
in front room.
