9/70 Quebec House, (formerly listed as
No. 65)


House in row. Late C18. Flemish bond brick, tiled roof, brick
stacks. Parallel-range plan. Two storey, 4-windowed; sashes.
Door with 6 fielded panels in plain stone surround to left of
centre, 12-pane sash to left and two 4-pane sashes to right; all
with shutters, 6-panelled door to entry to right. First floor has
four 9-pane sashes and blind panel between floors. Painted stone
quoins. Cellar to left of door has two segmental arched openings
with iron bars. Early C19 rear range has C20 French windows and
glazed porch with four 12-pane sashes to first floor.
Interior not accessible at time of survey (May 1985).
