5/158 Keysley Farmhouse

GV II

Farmhouse. Early C18 and late C18. Flemish bond brick, tiled
and Welsh slate roof, brick stacks. L-plan. Two storey, 3-
windowed; sashes and casements. Six-panelled door with transom
light and 12-pane sash in plain ashlar case, to late C18 build to
right, to left is blocked doorway, small C18 canted bay and 2-light
casement. First floor has two 2-light casements to left, one
Venetian window with sash in plain ashlar case, and dentilled brick
eaves cornice and stone quoins to right build. Rear has C20
casements and glazed door, rear wing is C20 rebuild with patio
doors and casements.
Interior not inspected.
Isolated farm on downs to south of Wylye Valley, associated
farmbuildings are early C19 or late C20.
