Detached cottage. C17. Rubble stone and square panelled timber-
framing with brick nogging, half-hipped thatched roof, brick
stacks. Central 3-bays are timber framed, rubble stone bay either
end, left bay C20. Two storey, 5-windowed; casements. C20 door
with rustic porch to right timber-framed bay, 2-light casement to
right, two 2-light, 1-light and C20 casement to left. First floor
has C20 casement, 2-light casement in oriel, blocked 2-light wooden
mullioned window and three 2-light casements. Rear has lean-to
extension to left, 2-storey wing to right, 2-light and 3-light
casements to both floors. Right return has C20 applied close
studding.
Interior not accessible at time of survey (June 1985), but said to
have chamfered beams, open-fireplaces including one with chip-
carved overmantel, C17 panelling.
