Detached house. Late C17, extended C18 and C19. Chequered flint
and brick, Welsh slate roof with gable end brick stacks. Gable
end to road, L-plan. Two-storey and attic, 5-window. Central
C19 flint and stone porch with Tudor-arched opening and half-glazed
margin-pane door, two 2-light recessed chamfered mullioned windows
to right with sashes, single-light with sash and 2-light mullioned
sash to left. String course to sills of first floor windows;
four 2-light mullioned sashes, irregularly spaced. Late C18
English bond brick bay to left has half-glazed door and 2-light
recessed chamfered mullioned casement. Two 2-light casements to
two C19 attic dormers. Early C19 addition to right with
tripartite sash. Left return facing road has 2-light first floor
casement to C18 wing, rear of this has 12-pane sashes in moulded
wooden architraves. Late C19 brick range to rear left has
segmental-headed sashes and casements.
Interior not accessible at time of survey (March 1987).
