GV II
Detached house. Early C19. Stucco, Welsh slate roof on deep eaves
with paired brackets, ashlar stacks. Two-storey, 5-window. Double
doors with fielded panels in recessed pilastered porch to right of
short projecting wing with channelled quoins, 2-light cast-iron
casement with diamond panes to right, bay to left has canted ground
floor bay with French windows, range to left has 4-panelled door,
tripartite casement and 2-light cast-iron casements. First floor
has three 2-light cast-iron casements to left, one to wing and two
to right hand range. Rear has similar casements and French windows
to front. Interior has stairs with stick balusters. Probably
built as the manager or owner's house to the Wool Store (q.v.).
