Detached cottage. Mid C17. Dressed limestone, thatched roof with
half-hips and axial brick stack. Baffle entry plan. Single storey
and attic. C20 planked door with C20 flat wooden hood to right of
centre, 3-light recessed chamfered mullioned casement either side.
Two brick eyebrow dormers with 2-light casements. Left return has
single-light C20 casement and 2-light casement to chalk block attic
floor. Right return has 3-light and single-light casement to
ground floor, C20 attic casement. Rear has lean-to extension to
left, 3-light casement to right, dormer with 2-light casement.
Interior has deep chamfered beam with jewel stops and open
fireplace with chamfered lintel on chamfered stone jambs in east
room. West room has open fireplace with renewed lintel on stone
jambs with bread oven.
