11.9.68 at Penleigh Farmhouse)
Stables and carriage house, to Penleigh House (q.v.), now cottage.
Circa 1700. English garden wall bond brick, hipped Bridgewater
tiled roof. Two-storey, 5-window. Stable part to right has
central chamfered round-arched doorway with C20 door and moulded
cross window either side, to left are two elliptically-headed
carriage doors with keystones. First floor has two 2-light
casements either side of central single light. Interior of
stables altered to dwelling.
