5/155 Two monuments in railed enclosures
in the churchyard about 5m east of
the Chapman Cross
Two railed enclosures with chest tombs. Mid to late C19. South
one has cast-iron spearhead railings with urn finials, limestone
chest tomb with oval fielded panel, carved drapery and quarter
balusters, inscription to Augustus Squire died 1861. North one
has cast-iron railings with dog bars and bold spearheads, large
blue lias chest tomb with cusped panels, weathered top and
inscription to William Price died 1879.
