1/209 Kings Farmhouse
II
Farmhouse. Circa 1600, altered later C17. Rendered timber-
framing, pantiled roof with stone slate eaves, stone and brick
stacks. T-plan. Two-storey, 2-window west front. C19 canted bay
with casements and blocked doorway to main range, first floor has
one 2-light casement. Cross wing to right has 3-light ovolo-
mullioned casement with hoodmould to ground floor, 3-light oriel
casement to first floor, carved barge boards with pendant. Left
return has 3-light and single-light casements to ground floor, two
2-light casements to first floor. Rear has outshut to right, main
range has planked door and 3-light ovolo-mullioned casement with
hoodmould, single-light casements to first floor. Rear of cross
wing has 3-light ovolo-moulded oriel casement, south front of wing
has 4-light ovolo-mullioned casement. Interior not accessible at
time of survey (July 1986), but probably has through passage to
rear of hall stack, now with blocked doorways.
