Milestone. Late C18. Limestone pillar with pitched top and cast-iron plate
attached to front. Raised lettering: Warminster/2/Westbury/2. Warminster to
Westbury Road turnpiked 1757-58, one of a series of radial turnpikes around
Warminster.
