Late C18/early C19 detached cottage. 2 storeys and 2 ranges of windows. Double
ridge roman tile roof. Rendered brick on stone plinth, band over ground floor
and stone dressings. Later casement windows with stone surrounds having beaded
inner edges. Good doorpiece right of centre: engaged 3/4 Doric columns to open
pediment, bedmould mitred over frieze; round headed doorway with raised surround
having beaded inner edges, and moulded outer edges, and a semi-circular doorstep.
C20 door with oval light in upper part, arched fanlight with C2O decoration. Small
through passage opening to right.
