(East Side)
Upper Victoria Mills
Watchman's House
ST 8557 7/156A

Dated 1845. Ashlar stone. 2 storey gabled Tudor style cottage. 2 light casement
windows, 1 per floor, the ground floor having marginal glazing with coloured glass.
Central 1st floor gable to west. Drip moulds to windows and door, latter with
Tudor arch. Plain kneelers to weathered coping of verges. Slate roof. Brick
chimney to right.

The Upper and Victoria Hills form a group of which the Mill to east off Watchman's
House, Factory to east of Main Cradle Mill and Factory Building to north of
Main Group are buildings of local interest.
