Upper and Victoria Mills
Former Stove Rack and
adjacent building
ST 8557 7/156E

Mid C19. Long pantiled sheds. Red brick. The lower single storey shed close
to street wall (built of stone) is partially obscured by it. The stove rack was
for drying cloth. -
Adjacent is a 2 storey red brick building. Coped verges to south and stone and
brick voussoirs to gable end doorway to fire escape.

The Upper and Victoria Hills form a group of which the Mill to east off Watchman's
House, Factory to east of Main Cradle Mill and Factory Building to north of
Main Group are buildings of local interest.
