Mid C19. 2 storey, brick with raised stone-pier strips and stone band with brackets
to eaves. Plain stone surrounds to 1+2 glazing bar sash windows with marginned
glazing to 1st floor. Single ground floor window altered. Central C20 shop front.
Large opening with recessed double doors to left. Pantile roof with large chimney
stack on east gable. 2 storey extension to rear.

Former Sunday School former 'Institute' to east, The Tabernacle United Reformed
Church and related structures form a group with Nos 24 to 26 (consec) and 2 and
3 Tabernacle Cottages.
